Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 17 May 2026
These terms govern your use of the Vhanyai Farming Estate website and any orders placed with us. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to them. They are written in plain English and are designed to be fair to both you and us.
1. About us
Vhanyai Farming Estate is a family-owned farm based in Lwamondo, Venda, Limpopo, South Africa. References to "we", "us" or "Vhanyai" mean Vhanyai Farming Estate. References to "you" mean the customer placing an order or visiting the site.
2. Placing an order
Orders are currently placed via WhatsApp (+27 76 322 1489) using the order buttons on our Shop page. When you message us we will:
- Confirm availability and the final price (including delivery, if applicable).
- Share payment details (EFT or other available methods).
- Confirm dispatch once payment has cleared.
An order is only binding once we have confirmed it in writing on WhatsApp. We reserve the right to refuse an order, for example where stock is unavailable or where the delivery address is outside our service area.
3. Prices and payment
All prices on the site are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Delivery is quoted separately and depends on your address and the courier chosen.
We accept payment by EFT and any other methods we may add from time to time. Goods remain our property until payment has been received in full.
4. Delivery
We deliver nationwide within South Africa using Courier Guy, Aramex or PostNet, depending on your area. Typical delivery time is 2–5 working days from dispatch. Local pickup in Venda or Polokwane can be arranged on request.
Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. We are not liable for delays caused by the courier or by circumstances outside our reasonable control (load-shedding, weather, public holidays, etc.). Risk of loss passes to you on delivery.
5. Product information
We do our best to describe and photograph our products accurately. Because our products are grown and packed in small batches, small variations in colour, size and appearance are normal and are part of the character of farm-produced goods.
Our Cayenne Pepper is currently marked non-radiated — it has not been treated with ionising radiation. Spices are a natural product; please store them in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
6. Returns, refunds and faulty goods
Your rights as a consumer under the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) are protected. See our Returns & Refunds policy for full details on how and when you can return a product.
7. Intellectual property
The Vhanyai Farming Estate name, logo, sub-brand names (VFE Crimson, VFE Emerald, VFE Gold), website design, photography and content are owned by us. You may not copy or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.
8. Your responsibilities
You agree to give us accurate contact and delivery information, to use the site lawfully, and not to attempt to disrupt or compromise its operation.
9. Liability
We take care to provide good products and a working website, but to the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for any indirect, consequential or special loss. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited under South African law.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will first be addressed in good faith between you and us. Failing resolution, the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with the date of the last update at the top.
